Real beds and real linen, which was a treat for a backpacker. Each bed had its own curtain and light, which was super handy. The bathrooms were clean and attached to the room, so there was never a need to wait. They gave clear advice on how to get to the bus station and even pointed out the location on a map.

The noise was a bit of a letdown, especially in the girls dorm which was located next to the reception. The constant flirting and chatting between the reception boys and girls kept me up at night.

my recent stay in yangon was great, but staying at backpacker hostel exceeded my expectations. the staff was incredibly helpful and the bed and blanket were the most comfortable i've experienced in myanmar. the location was ideal with plenty of restaurants nearby.

Something was missing in the neighborhood.

Loved the friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist us with our travel arrangements and even called a taxi for us. . the beds were incredibly comfortable with privacy curtains and charging outlets, creating a cozy and convenient space. the location of the hostel was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation options.

The noise from the common area could be quite disruptive, especially when our room was next to it. It felt like the walls were paper-thin, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The spacious and private bunks with curtains were top-notch. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast options, especially the fried rice and rice porridge, were absolutely delicious. We also appreciated the option to do laundry and hang it to dry in the bathroom. I highly recommend this hostel.

I had an amazing stay at Backpacker Hostel in Yangon. The bunk beds were the best I've slept on in a long time, with privacy curtains, lights, and charging sockets. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The common room was a great space to relax and there was fast wifi and free drinks all day.

    Totally recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Backpacker in Yangon for a week while exploring the city. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hostel's central location was perfect for me, as I wanted to be in the heart of the city. The sleeping booth was a unique touch, and the rooms were always spotless. I appreciated the complimentary toilet paper, soap, and fresh drinking water. The breakfast options were delicious, with both Burmese and continental choices available. a fantastic stay.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The location of the hostel was great, providing easy access to various attractions. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with curtains and an extra sausage-shaped pillow that made them cozy. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Additionally, the bathroom was modern and extremely clean. The WiFi connection was excellent, providing fast internet access.

The common space for meeting fellow travelers was lacking.

This budget hostel is a great choice for young travelers. the location is ideal, with food stalls, famous landmarks, and public transportation nearby. the staff is friendly and always ready to help with any inquiries or bookings. the beds are comfortable, with curtains for privacy and individual charging outlets. the common areas are well-kept and tidy. Plus, they provide free towels and lockers for storage. Some guests even had the chance to meet interesting people during breakfast.

Occasionally, there was a slight strange smell in the bathroom.

The location of the hostel is convenient, with proximity to the ferry to Dala, allowing guests to explore an authentic experience. the beds are comfortable, and each one has its own curtain, light, and charging plugs. the bathrooms are clean, and there's someone constantly cleaning them. the hostel also offers free tea, coffee, juice, and water refills, making it convenient.

The reception staff can be disorganized, providing incorrect information about room availability and not prioritizing customer satisfaction.

For the price, Backpacker exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable and the value for money was great. The location was convenient, with various spots within walking distance and easy access to other attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The hotel breakfast menu could be improved, perhaps by offering more variety or options to cater to different preferences.

The hostel offered comfortable and private bunk beds with light and charging sockets, which was a nice touch. I also appreciated the fast wifi and the availability of free tea, coffee, and juice throughout the day.

My experience was marred by the unpleasant and rude behavior of the front desk staff. They tried to overcharge me and insisted on their own inflated exchange rate for US dollars.

The beds in this hostel were incredibly comfortable, some of the best I've slept on during my trip. I loved that each bed had its own power point and an instilled light into the ceiling, making it easy to charge my devices and read at night. the privacy curtains were a great touch, allowing me to have my own space and block out any distractions. Plus, the huge lockers provided were perfect for storing my backpack safely. Another advantage was the friendly and helpful staff who were always willing to assist with any questions or recommendations.

The limited number of bathrooms in the dormitory. It seemed like there were too few for the amount of people staying in the dormitory, which sometimes resulted in longer wait times.
